I’ve worked hands-on within professional orchestras, arts organizations, and universities — supporting artists, building partnerships, and helping institutions evolve. Those experiences clarified something essential: beauty, shared cultural experience, music, and meaning are not extras. They shape identity, belonging, and how a community feels about itself.
My power is telling the stories that reveal why design and the arts matter — and why beautiful, livable places don’t happen by accident.
Born in Chicago, my arts education and professional development have taken me through Interlochen Arts Academy, Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, Idyllwild Arts, the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra, and the League of American Orchestras’ Executive Leadership Program. Together, those experiences give me a broad, lived perspective on civic and cultural storytelling.
